Tall white pines were enjoyed under sunny skies when 9 members spent 6 days and paddled over 100 km at Marten River near North Bay in July. It was a time to rest, find a slippery rock, and enjoy nature at its best. It was an experience for a first time camper, a novice in the waves, and rookie trip leaders. We all learned CAA is available anywhere, fresh fish tastes great, and $5.00 doesn’t guarantee you’ll see a moose! We had a fabulous time and I encourage everyone to attend the multiday trips hosted by your fellow club members.
