2023 Paddle Schedule- Our calendar is live!

2023 Paddle Schedule- Our calendar is live!

December 16, 2018 Events

We’re off to a great start this year as our  members began to fill in paddle dates on our calendar at our March 9th AGM. We’re fortunate to have a dedicated group of members with diverse paddling interests, so you’ll find a great mix of new locations and perennial favourites.

As dates fill in, keep checking our EVENTS page calendar for the most current paddle info.  We offer alternating Tuesday and Thursday evening paddles each week locally in Niagara, and every Wednesday we do an Ad Hoc paddle.  Our Ad Hoc paddles can be anywhere, are often exploratory, and we decide where we’ll be going each week on the Ad Hoc paddle the week before.  For our weekend day paddles we may travel out of the Region, and we may do longer paddles with a social component.  We’ve already posted our first two trips for 2023, Tobermory and the Bruce Peninsula and Marten River, both of which are now full.  Our members are now working on other 2023 multi-day trips to discover areas within Ontario and New York State.

The calendar is live on the EVENTS page of this website, and our first official paddle will be May 7th at Jordan Harbour.  Our up-to-date calendar allows members to plan which paddles they will attend, and see if there are any dates marked “To Be Determined” for which they might have a paddle in mind to lead.   Contact our Tour Director Petra Norris-Pett to provide the details on any paddle you’d like to lead, or if you have any questions.

We are a diverse group of individuals from all over Ontario’s Niagara Region with a passion for kayaking. We conduct numerous day paddles throughout southern Ontario as well as extended expeditions further from home. We try to have an event scheduled every weekend of the season. Winter events are impromptu.
